Kill The King - Rainbow - Budokan 1978 Final Night

On Stage is a double live album originally released by the British hard rock band Rainbow in It was recorded live over several German and Japanese dates in late during the Rising world tour. The recording features the customary introduction to a Rainbow show — the classic quote from The Wizard of Oz , "Toto: I have a feeling we're not in Kansas anymore. We must be over the rainbow! Many of the tracks were spliced together from different dates by producer Martin Birch , and the running order was changed to more easily fit four sides of vinyl.

Blues Tokyo 16 December Evening Show [4]. Starstruck Tokyo 16 December Evening Show [4]. Catch The Rainbow Osaka 9 December [5]. Mistreated Cologne 25 September [6]. Still I'm Sad Nuremberg 28 September [8]. Geoff Ginsberg of AllMusic writes: " On Stage is full of great songs and playing, but somehow it lacks some of the excitement that existed at those early Ritchie Blackmore concerts.

The production is just kind of flat. Anyway, this live was special. Speaking of the Graham era, it is a lineup of star and player groups, and that visit to Japan is only once. However, the actual show is a tremendous hard rock trome place, even if you overlook such specs and data. It is said that the first two performances are balanced PA it is also good , but after that, everything is perfect after the off. It is its only Nippon Budokan, the most popular show in the Graham era.

From such special live a number of famous boards were born. This work is one that can be said to be the most advanced and its latest. It is a superb board by a new discovery master who is neither a copy of a past masterpiece nor a recurrent recurrence.

Of course, since it is the same recording, points such as tape change are the same as before. In fact, that sound is amazing. And, it is super clear. The super name recording that does not feel the distance is a well-known street, but this work further shines the air feeling to crystal clear, and the ringing is also delicate.

The elongation of the treble shines brightly, the glossiness of the middle bass sounds black. Even silence between musical instruments is deep as abyss, all instruments, all notes stand out. Please stand up. Because it is not the intention to touch the deceased person, I was made a letter and letter but it is close enough to hear clearly up to the name.

And the final performance portrayed in the direct sound hits the heart. Whether the band has not recovered from tragedy on this day, the tight performance with little play. It is not as good as it is a great performance that will not be blown off, but instead, a serious mood that can not be heard elsewhere covers the whole story. Even a good song of a nori is played with crisp without being floated, a sentimental melody bleeds deep sorrow. It is not the impression of the explosive drama but the world of the rainbow with quiet prayer.

In fact, unlike the reprint series so far, some aged deterioration was also seen in the original cassette of Kinney. However, it is definitely the most promising candidate for decision board competition. It also depicts even the sorrow that blurs out from the performance, the details that will soak into my heart, the direct feeling. Even though there are countless early departures, the feelings and sounds that are transmitted only in this work. As a matter of fact, this show has experienced the highest sound quality with official Deluxe Edition and Jeezy Tape sound board.

In the meantime, there is no meaning to aim for high in the pure audio value sense. However, the feeling of continuity and experiences are different.

The breath and reality unique to audiences recording are the highest peaks, and the presence that it lasts except for 27 seconds is the one that no one has ever experienced. This work is one that can taste the sound as close to the best as possible, the longest in the past.

Beyond time and space, the audience recording is only when you experience the show. In that sense, it transcends all kinds of past episodes, and it is a masterpiece that is thin at the top as regards quality. Of course, this experience must be able to repeat forever and ever. It must be conveyed to future generations. For that purpose permanent preservation press 2CD.
